WOMs patented Deep Water Riser System (DRS) # 1, successfully completed the Wet Test on the Pacific Drilling Santa Ana (DP Drillship) Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. DRS #1 is the first system in the DRS Series Intervention Systems which covers both Full Riser Intervention System and Riser-Less Intervention Systems.
The Subsea division of WOM which developed the DRS #1, has more than a decade of design & operational experience in Subsea Intervention Systems. The patented Coil Cutting Gate Valves Technology which can shear coil tubing and seal wellbore has made the DRS system compact and lightweight. The intensity of the analysis to which each component is subjected to is testament to WOMs commitment to safety.
