Dual Sealing Gate Valve

The Dual Sealing mechanism in the Magnum-XU is designed to provide the highest level of reliability in the most extreme working environments.

Magnum-XU was designed by using the highest degree of engineering optimization to achieve the lowest weight compared to other API gate valves and minimize the number of components, providing the highest level of reliability. Additionally, its modular design allows for switching between all operator types while in service.

  • 100% non-elastomeric seals in both valve and actuator
  • Non-elastomeric seals extend the temperature range and chemical compatibility of the valve
  • Gates and Seats are hardfaced with Colmonoy or TC coated
  • Single piece seat upstream and downstream
  • Upstream sealing drastically reduces the contamination entering the valve body cavity
  • Upstream sealing minimizes pressure entering the valve body cavity there by not exposing the bonnet gasket and stem packing to the bore pressure
  • Reduced body cavity minimizes the volume of grease required
  • Visual Position Indicator is a standard feature of all Magnum-XU Gate Valves
  • Inconel overlay on seat pocket, flange ring grooves and body-bonnet ring grooves

Coil Cutting Valves

Based on gate valve technology to cut and seal coil tubing, this CCV is equipped with horizontal hydraulically actuated single gate made to shear and seal coiled tubing and wire line of a given specification in the wellbore.
A seal is made after the shearing, isolating the pressure/fluids from both upstream and downstream. The coil cutting valve is powered by accumulators and can be overridden via ROV manual over-ride.
