WOM always believed that sports can positively impact both children and adults, providing opportunities to get exercise and spend time with peers in a healthy environment. We also believe that it plays an important role of imparting character values, such as teamwork, fair play and respect for teammates and opponents. With this in mind, and to honor and give continuity to the several sport activities our beloved Mahesh Puranik supported through previous years, on February 24th of 2019 the Mahesh Puranik Soccer Tournament was held at our Canemont facility.
Luckily, after several days of continuous rain, the day of the event was a sunny and bright day with tacos and refreshments for the whole family, where more than 40 employees came out to demonstrate a great sportsmanship and unbelievable talent, of course, awarding Rinaldo Marquez with a $100 prize as the Tournament’s MVP. The event was yet followed by a Picture Contest awarding 4 different winners for their amazing shots.
